PROFILE OF THE MANAGEMENT TEAM

General Manager :: Peter Effah Owusu
An entrepreneur with keen business acumen, Peter takes charge of the overall management of the business. He started his professional career in 1997 with SCOA Motors (Local dealer for Peugeot vehicles and Iveco trucks) as graduate mechanic at the motors workshop and later on became Service advisor. In 1999, he joined Tractor and Equipment Ghana Limited, now Mantrac Ghana (Local dealer for Caterpillar Inc.) as Sales Engineer for seven years promoting caterpillar earthmoving and material handling equipment/products. He then moved on to join Pasico Ghana as Sales Manager for two month selling JCB range of construction, power systems and material handling equipment/products. In 2007, Peter joined Stanbic Bank Ghana (subsidiary of Standard Bank of South Africa) as New Business Manager in the Vehicle and Asset Finance Unit and played a pioneering role in the establishment of the unit and also in the implementation of the unit’s market entry strategy.
He left the bank in 2011 and joined Atlas Copco Ghana Ltd as the Business Manager of the Construction Technique business area comprising Road Construction Equipment division, Construction tools division, Portable Energy division as well as the Service Division of the construction technique business area. He was responsible for the development of the business in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia. A role he played for four years.
Peter left AtlasCopco in the early part of 2015 to spear head the affair of the business he founded. He brings on board, 17 years of rich experience in Engineering, Sales and Financial management with international exposures. He brings a great depth of experience to RL due to his engineering and finance background and vast experience in the implementation of market entry strategies in equipment and mining related products.
Peter holds a first degree in engineering and a Master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
Manager | Procurement & Sales :: Samuel Opoku Kumi
Actuarial scientist by profession with a BSc (Actuarial Science & Statistics) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology. He also holds an international standard organisation (ISO) certification in information and network security (black hat) from centre for development of advanced computing Mohali India. Samuel started his professional career in 1998 as a professional teacher; he later moved on to join abbee impex and construction as general manager, logistics. In 2012 he became a private consultant in cyber defence and a system administrator (biometric data base). Samuel handles all operational matter of the company and has over 13 years’ worth of experience in financial modelling, inventory management and quality control.
Assistant | Sales & Admin. :: Alberta Adoma Manu
Alberta is a young and enterprising accounting professional with HND in Accounting from Accra Polytechnic. She also holds a certificate in Software Engineering from IPMC Ghana. She has a background in insurance after haven’t worked with Vanguard Insurance for about a year. She has a strong organizational skills and able to adapt to the changing needs of the organization. She takes care of the day-to-day running of the office and handles all back office and customer care related issues.

Sampson Yaw Gyan
Engineer with business and Customer focus, Sampson started his professional career in 1993, working with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation as a maintenance engineer on the oil Rig, North Sea Pioneer in Angolan waters.
In 1996, he moved on to join Mechanical Lloyd Limited, an auto dealership, then for BMW, Honda and Land Rover brands as an Assistant Parts Manager, it was under his watch that the computerization of the parts operations on Mechanical Lloyd was done to bring efficiency to the operations of the workshop and customer satisfaction.
To further his desire in the sale of engineering components and equipment, Sampson joined Tractor and Equipment Ghana Limited, now Mantrac Ghana (Local dealer for Caterpillar Inc.) in 1999, as an Assistant Sales Manager responsible for the northern sector of the country, and later became the substantive Sales Manager responsible for used equipment for the dealership, supervising and managing the sale of earthmoving and material handling equipment/products and attending to customer issues.
In 2009, Sampson joined Atlas Copco as a Business Line Manager responsible for the development of the Construction Technique business area comprising Road Construction Equipment division, Construction tools division in Nigeria
Due to security concerns, Sampson moved to Ghana and joined another equipment manufacturer, Shantui, as the Sales Manager responsible for West Africa, in 2012, where his role was to develop the market for the brand within the sub region, inroads were made into Liberia, Togo, Cote D’Ivoire, Congo Dr, Cameroun amongst others.
Sampson currently is the Board Chairman of Regal Logistics. He brings a great worth of experience to Regal Logistics due to his engineering, finance and sales within the sub region and vast experience in the implementation of market entry strategies in equipment and mining related products.
He holds a first degree in engineering and a second degree in business administration (MBA), Finance.
Yaw Agyei Agyepong
An astute businessman and banker with remarkable experience in corporate affairs and business management.
Yaw started his career at the Institute of Economic Affairs (House of Parliament) as a Legislative Research Assistant in 1998 and later on jumped into the banking industry. He ran through all the levels in the banking ladder to becoming a corporate relationship manager. He worked with a number of banks notable amongst them are Barclays bank, Fidelity Bank, Stanbic bank and societe generale bank (SG SSB). He is currently the Chief Executive Office of Obooma Farms Products Ltd and a board member of Oil Palm Research Institute of the Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Resource Development and a master’s degree in International Affairs
